Creating a New Entity Framework Business Object Project

To create a new MM .NET Entity Framework Business Object project, do the following:

  1. In Visual Studio's Start Page, click the Create: Project... link, or go to the File menu and select New | Project....

  2. In the New Project dialog in Project types, under your language of choice, select the MM .NET node. In the center pane of the dialog, select the MM .NET EF Business Object Library template. Specify a name for your project in the Name text box, and specify where you want to create the project under Location.

  3. Click OK. This displays the New MM .NET Business Object Library dialog. Specify a Default Namespace (C# projects) or Root Namespace (VB .NET projects) for your project, then click OK to create the project.

    Afterwards, your project should look something like this:
