Why can't I see the MM .NET Project and Item Templates?

If you can't see the MM .NET Project templates in the Add New Project dialog, or the MM .NET Item Templates in the Add New Item dialog, try the following:

  1. Close all instances of Visual Studio
  2. Launch a Developer Command Prompt for Visual Studio, and select to Run as Administrator.
  3. In the Developer Command Prompt window, enter DEVENV /SETUP
  4. After the command finishes executing (it takes several seconds), relaunch Visual Studio.
